For 50 years, the Santa Barbara Symphony has been introducing fourth, fifth and sixth graders to the wonders of the orchestra through interactive and kid-friendly shows.  This year’s program, The Symphony Goes Green, uses nature-themed pieces to explore the musical concepts of pitch, tempo, dynamics and timbre, and is especially designed to integrate with Earth and Life Science curriculums.  Concerts for Young People are a great way to meet state content standards for music, particularly in the areas of Artistic Perception and Aesthetic Valuing.

We look forward to seeing you!
