Employment will begin as soon as the winner’s availability and the Santa Barbara Symphony schedule allow.

In the event that an existing contract musician is appointed, the Audition Committee has the option of offering the vacated position to another qualified applicant following the provisions as outlined in the Santa Barbara Symphony Collective Bargaining Agreement.
