Concert Event & Ticketing Policies

Concert Event Policies

  • All concert attendees must have a ticket for their own seat. (Lap sitting is not permitted.)
  • The use of any type of recording devices is strictly prohibited at all Santa Barbara Symphony concerts.
  • All electronic devices should be turned off during the concert.
  • Please remain in your seat until intermission or the conclusion of the concert.
  • Patrons who leave the hall before or during the performance will not be reseated until after the completion of the work.
  • Reserved seats cannot be guaranteed after the performance begins.
  • Latecomers will be seated at an appropriate break in the program (determined by the production) or seated in the back of the hall out of courtesy to the artists and other patrons.
  • Children under the age of 8 are not recommended to attend concerts.
  • Children under the age of 3 will not be permitted, as per Granada Theatre policy.
  • Physicians should leave their name and seat location with the box office if expecting calls or pages.

Ticketing Policies

Ticket Exchanges

  • Subscribers may exchange their tickets from Saturday to Sunday or Sunday to Saturday free of charge.
  • Subscribers may exchange over the phone or in person at the Symphony Office or Granada Box Office. You must have your tickets present at the time of the exchange.
  • Single ticket buyers may exchange their concert tickets at an additional fee.

Ticket Donations

Subscribers can donate their tickets back to the Symphony for a tax credit donation if they cannot attend a concert for any reason. The Symphony will resale the donated tickets to the general public. If and when the donated tickets are sold, the subscriber will be eligible for a tax credit donation.

Subscribers MUST notify the Symphony Office or Granada Box Office at least 48-hours prior to a concert in order to receive a fully deductible tax credit for the full value of their tickets. This is because we cannot open your tickets for resale after the concert has happened.

Refunds

Subscription packages and single tickets are non-refundable.
